Community Open Studio

Community Open Studio is a new weekly, self-directed creative studio time where participants can bring their own supplies and projects to create alongside fellow artists and makers. During this dedicated two-hour weekly session, attendees can enjoy focused creative time, exchange ideas, and connect with others in a supportive environment. There will also be optional opportunities to share works-in-progress, receive informal feedback and ask questions. All experience levels are welcome to participate (children 13 and younger must be accompanied by an adult).

Info on what supplies artists need to bring: Participants will bring their own tools/materials and ongoing projects, such as watercolor paintings, printmaking projects, drawing, sketchbooks, knitting, collage work, embroidery, or creative writing. We also have an enormous amount of donated acrylic paint that can be used during these sessions and will have some other donated materials on-hand for folks to access as well. Note that use of the print studio and equipment is not part of this opportunity and requires a separate rental option.
