Mobile Produce Market – Free Locally Grown Produce

Ball State University’s Muncie Food Hub Partnership (Mobile Produce Market) and Redkey Community Development are partnering to bring free, locally grown produce to Redkey!

Friday, September 11Friday, October 23🕔 Time: 5:15–6:15 p.m.

The Mobile Produce Market will offer a variety of fresh produce, including sweet corn, zucchini, green beans, onions, peppers, potatoes, melons, peaches, and more!

Families will receive food based on family size and will be able to choose the items they would like from the available selection.

Each distribution will also include a cooking and nutrition demonstration. We are also working with IU Health to offer free health screenings during the distributions.

This is a pilot program and part of a university course. If the program is successful, we hope to be able to offer additional produce distributions in Redkey next year!
