FALL FEST

Friday, October 23rd

8pm-9:30pm Not So Creepy Critters Night Hike

Uncover the mystery behind some of nighttime’s “creepiest” critters! Are they full of tricks or are they a nocturnal treat? This hike is best suited for kids ages 5 and up or for children who are comfortable being in the dark. Participants may bring a flashlight though we will turn all lights off for a portion of the program. The hike will be about 1 mile round-trip. Meet at the campground campfire circle located to the right of the campground playground.

Saturday, October 24th

2pm-3pm Games at the Native American Village

Join us at the village to play some games that children of Prophetstown might have played. Then make and take home a toy of your own! The lesson will take about 20 minutes meaning you can come when you please within the time frame, while supplies last. Park at the visitor center and safely cross the road.

5pm-6pm Campground Trick-or-Treating

Trick or treating in the campground starts at 5pm! Campers - have your treats ready for the kids walking by. Open to the public, and parking is available at the campground entrance. No vehicle traffic allowed through the campground from 4:30pm-6:30pm. Visit campsite 259 in the Savanna Loop to trick or treat with park staff and volunteers and to get your fall fest photo!

6pm-8pm Farm to Table Gala: Farm Birthday Gala!

Join us as we celebrate The Farm at Prophetstown’s 27th birthday! With a warm and comforting fall forward menu, we will focus our courses on the flavors of the fall garden. We will finish the evening with birthday cake and toast to another great year of The Farm! Call (765)567-4700 to register. Park admission not included.

6:30pm-9pm Campsite Evaluation

Decorate your campsite for a chance to win 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place in campsite décor! Judges will tour the campground between these hours to evaluate your campsite. You are welcome to provide a tour to the judges as they walk through.

Sunday, October 25th
