The Butler Did It!
The Butler Did It! is an affectionate and hilarious spoof of traditional 1930s British drawing-room detective stories.
The story takes place at Bournsley Manor, the estate of Colonel Nigel Covington (David Brooks) and Lady Miranda Covington (Sandy VanLancker). The very proper butler, Jenkins (Chris Klaver), and the fiery Cockney maid, Sarah Jane (Nicole Buchann), are busy preparing the household for a visit from Edwina Corry (Cheryl Sheridan), the world's greatest mystery author.
Chatty Father Timothy (Douglas Hoy) “happens” to stop by, hoping to meet Edwina, while the Colonel makes arrangements with his caddish neighbor, Trevor (Adam Bright), to marry his daughter, Kat (Molly Woods). Meanwhile, Gram (Paul Levandowski), Lady Miranda's possibly deranged mother, makes spontaneous appearances wielding a rifle.
When someone in the household is found dead, mystery writer Edwina eagerly launches an investigation. Unfortunately for Jenkins, the evidence points directly at him.
The police are called, and Jenkins has exactly 30 minutes to solve the murder and clear his name—all while remaining tied to a chair!
This wacky comedy mystery is directed by Linda Granger, with Cynthia Webb serving as Assistant Director/Stage Manager.
And that's not all! During intermission, audience members will have the opportunity to participate in a contest to guess who the murderer is. A prize will be awarded at curtain call to the lucky winner! A name will be drawn in cases of more than one correct guess.

Dinner and dessert reservations must be made at least three days before the desired performance date, and payment is required to hold any reservation. Tuesday before the weekend is the caterers deadline for dinner.
