Outfitting IU Athletics: Hoosier Champions This exhibit showcases objects from IU's championship teams and athletes, connecting them to historic achievements in the Big Ten and the national stage. The items featured in the exhibit are from the IU Athletics Sports Memorabilia Collection and feature photos and videos provided by IU Athletics and Indiana University Archives. Dates: November 14, 2025 - October 2026     By Their Own Hands: The Black Filmmakers Hall of Fame! Founded in 1974 by the Culture and Ethnic Affairs Guild of the Oakland Museum of California, the Black Filmmakers Hall of Fame began as a film lecture series and awards ceremony celebrating achievements of Black film industry figures. When that organization closed, they donated their materials to IU. In collaboration with the IU Black Film Center and Archive, this exhibit features objects from that collection, including founding documents, costumes, and handprints of inductees to the Hall of Fame. Dates: September 2025 - December 2026     Capturing the Campus: T.C. Steele, Indiana University's First Artist in ResidenceCapturing the Campus pays tribute to renowned Hoosier artist T.C. Steele. The exhibit honors the century that has passed since his death by showcasing paintings form the artist's residency at IU and other relevant works. The exhibit will bring together Steele's landscapes from the IU Public Art and Cultural Heritage Collection and the Indiana State Museum and Historic Sites' collection, allowing the holdings of these two collections to be viewed in one space. Dates: April 17, 2026 - April 2026   Multipurpose Room Currently Featuring: The Gift of Collecting: Tina Jernigan Jernigan was a passionate supporter of both Indiana University and the arts. She donated artworks to the IU Public Art and Cultural Heritage Collection upon her passing in 2024. With funding provided by Jernigan, Public Art professionally framed, hung, and preserved these pieces for this exhibit in the McCalla Building and for future installations on campus.  Dates: July 2026-July 2027
