Nature Rx: Campfire Cooking, Foil Dinners (All Ages) presented by Mercy Health
🌳Nature Rx: Campfire Cooking, Foil Dinners (All Ages) presented by Mercy Health
Join us at Campfire Cooking, presented by Mercy Health, for a full mind, body and wellness experience. Learn new recipes and tips that will make your campfire cooking a highlight of your adventure. Metroparks staff will guide participants in making their own personalized packet of smoked sausage or plant based sausage, potatoes and veggies over the open fire. Served with warm rolls and melty s'mores burritos for dessert!
This free program is part of Nature Rx, a collaborative campaign between Metroparks Toledo and Mercy Health that promotes the power of parks in improving the community’s mental and physical well-being. October is Health Literacy Month and Mercy Health experts Shanica Easley and Katie Schlagheck will join our campfire cooking program to share the tips and tricks of navigating health information.
