Beni Daiko
Feel the thunder of Taiko drums! Founded in 2012, Beni Daiko is Madison's premier Taiko drumming group. "Beni" means deep red in Japanese, symbolizing Madison, and "Taiko" means drum. Beni Daiko will introduce Japanese culture through powerful Taiko drumming with traditional lion dances and modern interpretations. Get ready for an interactive experience, perfect for little ones who love to make noise and move to the beat!
In addition, families are invited to participate in “Art After Overture” from 10:30am - 12:30pm, in partnership with the Madison Public Library.
The 1pm performance will be American Sign Language interpreted. Please email [email protected] at least one hour ahead to be seated within sight of the interpreter for live performances.
