Runaway Twain upcoming 2026 improv performances: November 15 and December 13

Join Runaway Twain improv group – Charity Coons, Michael LaDell Harris, Chris Huling, & Friends – for an evening of laughter!

Runaway Twain is a local improv group that started in 2024. It spawned from the successful Des Moines improv group Kitten Bomb Comedy, which has performed all around town since 2016.

Runaway Twain and Friends is a longform improv show performed monthly at The Playhouse. The shows consist of an improv performance by the rotating monthly guests and a long-form improv set by Runaway Twain. Runaway Twain 2025 guest artists included Alien Head Emoji, Chow Down, Comedy Xperiment, D+, and more!

NOTE: While the show isn't explicit, it is not family friendly as longform improv can go in a number of directions.
