EAA Space Day 2026

October 24, 2026 | 10 a.m - 5 p.m.

EAA Space Day will be splashing back down at the EAA Aviation Museum on Saturday, October 24, and you aren’t going to want to miss these out-of-this-world activities and fun:

Straw Rockets: Design and launch a straw rocket powered by you.

Misson Patch Contest: Design a mission patch for this year's Space Day theme: Rockets. The winning design will be turned into a sticker and given out at next year’s Space Day!

Lunar Landing: Engineer a lunar lander that can touch down safely with its marshmallow cargo intact.

Space Capsules: Climb inside a full-scale replica of the Mercury and Gemini space capsules.

And much more!

We are excited to be joined virtually by Fred Haise, a retired NASA astronaut and research pilot, aeronautical engineer, and fighter pilot, as our featured guest speaker for Space Day this year.
