UWL Celebrates: Veteran's Day

This event is free and open to the public

Nate Wolfe serves UWL by helping veteran and military-connected students connect their hard-earned VA benefits, or benefits earned by their families, to their student accounts and educational goals.

A 2006 UWL graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Theatre Performance, Wolfe’s journey has taken him across the country and around the world. Before and during his time at UWL, he served in the United States Marine Corps as an infantryman and later as a member of a Scout/Sniper platoon. He also worked in power plant operations, nightclub security, and fitness instruction.

After graduating from UWL, Wolfe continued his service as an officer in the United States Air Force, earning his commission through Officer Training School in 2008. He served at multiple installations across the United States and abroad, eventually serving as a commander in expeditionary leadership roles.

His professional path has also included work in higher education, food operations, and security leadership. He served as an Assistant Professor at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach and later worked in operations and security management roles. He earned a Master of Science in Leadership and Management from Webster University in 2016.

Across his life and career, Wolfe has traveled widely, including time in Ireland, Peru, Mexico, Jordan, and throughout the United States. His experiences reflect a broad commitment to service, leadership, learning, and supporting others as they navigate complex systems and transitions.

Today, Wolfe brings that same commitment back to UWL, supporting veteran and military-connected students as they pursue their education and build their next chapter.
