Woods and Waterfall Hike

Journey back in time with our park naturalist! Along the way we will explore some of the events that shaped the Big Woods and formed Hidden Falls.

This one-mile hike includes steps, a portion of boardwalk and hilly terrain. Sturdy shoes are recommended. Front and backpack carriers are encouraged for younger children as the trail is not stroller friendly. Program concludes at Hidden Falls to give you the option to continue exploring or spend time at the falls.

Meet at the picnic shelter.

This program is free to attend, but a vehicle permit is required for all motor vehicles entering the park. It is $7 for a day or $35 for a 12-month permit. Permits can be purchased online or at the park office.
