Halloween Costume Swap

Halloween Costume Swap 🎃👻

Get ready for Halloween at the MPRB Downtown Parks Halloween Costume Swap! This free, all-ages event is a chance to give your gently used costumes a second life, find a new-to-you Halloween look, and get creative with a hands-on art activity.

Costume drop-off is encouraged ahead of the event so we can have everything organized and ready for the swap. Bring clean, gently used Halloween costumes, clothing, and accessories to our locations on the following dates:

Water Works, 425 West River Pkwy – 9am – 9pm Every day of the week

Graco Park, 810 Sibley St. SE – 12pm – 8pm Wednesday – Sunday

Then join us on Saturday, October 24 from 11am–3pm to browse, swap, and find something fun to wear this Halloween! While you’re here, jump into a hands-on Halloween-themed art activity of making your own wand or mask.

What happens to the costumes that aren’t swapped? They’ll get a second chance to make someone smile!

All unclaimed costumes will be donated to St. Anne’s Place, a North Minneapolis shelter supporting women and non-binary-led families experiencing homelessness. The shelter provides a safe, supportive place where families can connect, heal, and rebuild—and where kids can find joy and stability.

Bring a costume, take a costume, make some art, and help keep Halloween fun, creative, and community minded. 🎃
