Friends Friday Films: The Christophers

Steven Soderbergh directs this darkly comedic caper, wherein the estranged children of a once-famous artist scheme to secure an inheritance by hiring a forger to finish their father’s uncompleted works. Ian McKellan and Michaela Cole make endlessly watchable screen partners as the artist and the forger, working from a sly, incisive script about why we make and connect with art. 1h40m.
