Friends Friday Films: I Swear
This inspiring film is based on the life of Tourette Syndrome advocate John Davidson, following his journey as a misunderstood youth in 1980s Scotland to his activism in the present day. The fight for understanding of a deeply stigmatized condition is at times a lonely and daunting path, but Davidson’s story shows how even the seemingly smallest acts of kindness can open the floodgates to empathy and acceptance. 2h. Rated R for language throughout and some violence. Check out a trailer here!
