Through Your Lens with Fran Rzeznik: A 4-Session Visual Storytelling Workshop

How do you make an audience feel something in just a few minutes?

Award-winning director and filmmaker Fran Rzeznik will guide you through the fundamentals of cinematography from finding your point of view and composing compelling shots to filming, editing and creating emotional impact. Using just your smartphone, you’ll develop an original 3–5 minute short film inspired by your own SM&NC experience. At one session, local influencers The Fordians will share editing tips using free but effective app-based software. The series culminates in the first-ever SM&NC Film Festival, where participant films will premiere on our Planetarium dome.
