Find That Pause: Mindset Tools for a Healthy Life
November's theme is Exploring the Science of Gratitude. The optional featured reading selection is Born to Flourish by Richard Davidson PhD & Courtland Dahl PhD. (available through BCCLS, and on Libby as an audiobook and an ebook)
As November brings Thanksgiving, it’s a perfect time to explore gratitude and what it means to truly flourish. Learn how neuroscience and contemplative practice work together to help us see the good in our lives, even amid challenges.
Each class starts with an introduction to theory and brain science, followed by a short gentle movement practice and a mindfulness meditation. Time for questions and discussion will be provided at the end. Classes are held Saturday mornings; come for one or all.
Registration is required. Please sign up here to receive the Zoom link.
