Autumn is the time to turn over a new leaf and S-T-R-E-T-C-H yourself physically and mentally. Improve your mental and physical wellness this fall with chair yoga at the library!

For less active individuals, older adults, or those with limited mobility, this yoga class will help you feel refreshed and renewed. Instructor Joni Wellness, a yogi teacher with decades of experience, presents classical yoga with chair adaptations of traditional postures.

Class will be held in the auditorium on the 4th floor.

Chairs provided by the library. Straps or belts provided by the instructor.

Registration highly encouraged.

Chair Yoga class provides an opportunity for experiential learning of classical yoga philosophy (e.g., non-violence, tolerance, self-study) through exploration of yoga postures. Detailed instruction with component breakdown of postures supporting strength, mobility, mindfulness, self-study, stress reduction, healing and transformation.
