Senior Arts Class: An Artistic Holiday Extravaganza

An Artistic Holiday Extravaganza”is an 8-week series of 3D art workshops for seniors reflecting on identity, culture, celebrations and unity. The sessions will consist of participants drafting and creating indoor pendant flags and door banners, holiday cards and sun-catching ornaments. In the final workshop session, the finished pieces will be displayed on a table setting. The workshop then becomes like a dinner party, where people get to know each other, share stories about their traditions and what they enjoy eating, or talk about their heritage. It is a spontaneous, harmonious, and nutritive learning experience that uplifts everyone's spirits.
