TaSH Farmers Market

Stop by TaSH — the Tarrytown and Sleepy Hollow Farmers Market — for fresh Hudson Valley produce, meat, bread, cut flowers, dairy, preserves, wine and beer. There are weekly live music performances, children’s activities, chef demos, and ongoing educational programs, plus weekly free samplings. Well-behaved dogs are welcome, provided your pooch is leashed.

TaSH is set in historic Patriots Park, on Route 9 straddling the villages of Tarrytown and Sleepy Hollow, next to the Warner Library. Run by the nonprofit Rivertowns Village Green, it’s one of the region’s most celebrated markets, with 50-plus vendors sourced from the Hudson Valley and food-access programs that make it welcoming to everyone.

The market is an easy walk from the Tarrytown Metro-North station and sits near the Old Croton Aqueduct Trail, so a car-free visit is realistic — see Sleepy Hollow Without a Car for train details.

Getting there: Free parking is available across the street at the John Paulding School. For GPS, use the library address, 121 North Broadway, Tarrytown, NY 10591.

Saturdays, 8:30 am to 1:30 pm, rain or shine — Memorial Day weekend through the Saturday before Thanksgiving. Check the organizer’s site for this year’s exact opening and closing dates and any special Mother’s Day or holiday markets.

Planning a fall visit? TaSH is the Saturday counterpart to Sunday’s Irvington market, and it’s a great low-key start to a fall day — see how it anchors a slow morning in A Perfect Fall Day in Sleepy Hollow.
