Assembled Ground

Four artists who build images the slow way — mark by mark, layer by layer.

*Assembled Ground* gathers the work of **Allison Belolan, Jennifer Cadoff, Dan Florin, and Mitchell Visoky**, four contemporary artists for whom making is a matter of accumulation. Working in collage, drawing, monotype, and black-and-white photography, each attends to the ground — natural and built — as much as to the image.

The palette is grayscale throughout, punctuated by gold and yellow that offer a quiet point of connection. Across four distinct practices, image is held in tension with structure.
