Open hours at the Thomas Paine Historical Association
The Thomas Paine Historical Association, founded in 1884, is headquartered at the Thomas Paine Memorial Building, located at 983 North Avenue in New Rochelle, New York 10804. Constructed in 1925 under the leadership of TPHA President William van der Weyde, inventor and Vice President Thomas Alva Edison, and Treasurer Cyril Nast, the Memorial Building is a lasting tribute to Founding Father Paine’s freethought ideals and the preservation of his memory. It now serves as a museum, library, and community gathering space for those who share the vision of a more just world. We welcome visitors every Saturday from 1 to 4pm. Entry is free with an optional donation supporting the work of the TPHA.
