Halloween Movie Marathon X

The Burns’ annual overnight Halloween Movie Marathon returns for its 10th edition, curated by filmmaker Alex Ross Perry. Featuring Amy Irving, who will launch the night with an introduction before Brian De Palma’s *The Fury* (presented on 35mm). We’ll also feature a screening of the 1987 slasher *Hell High*: whose interiors were shot at Scarsdale High School: marking it as a piece of 80s Westchester film history. The rest of the films in Perry’s seven-film lineup will remain a surprise until the night of the marathon.

**Early Bird Discount:** $10 off tickets purchased before October 15 at Noon.

**From guest curator Alex Ross Perry:** *“Being asked to curate a horror movie marathon is my dream – and a huge responsibility. I have been to my fair share and know that every element must be carefully considered in order to achieve a balanced – yet unpredictable – blend of moods, tones, decades and subgenres. My goal with this program was to give the horror lover a taste of everything we could cram in, from undeniable A-tier classics to unheralded gems I’d flip out for if the title appeared on screen with no prior knowledge that I’d be seeing this film today. In the hours that follow, we will journey together through the entire “horror section” – classics, exploitation, adaptation, slasher, monsters, an omnibus, and more.*

*One of these films I have been dying to see on screen for years and had been told at every turn that prints of it were not available. It was a box office bomb, played in very few theaters, had not been issued on any home video format past DVD and in my years of attending repertory screenings, I have never once seen it programmed – and it is presented here on 35mm.”*
