Maya Ciarrocchi: LoopCurrent

Maya Ciarrocchi presents LoopCurrent, a multimedia dance performance that brings together textiles, movement, sound, and seismology to envision a speculative, post-human world. Through performance work, the artist envisions the ways in which climate disaster might shape our world, presenting her research as a performative transmission from this imagined future. Ciarrocchi's 30-minute performance is presented in conjunction with the exhibition Dots and Loops in Wave Hill House and Angel Nevarez & Valerie Tevere: As far as the ear can hear in Glyndor Gallery and will be repeated at 1:00 and 3:00 PM.
