Paul Jensen: Sound Shore Songwriter Showcase

Singer-songwriter Paul Jensen hosts this performance showcase where local artists share original songs and the stories behind the music. Wine and beer available for purchase.

Paul is all about connecting with people–as a songwriter, recording artist or live performer. His American folk-rock music combines the power of storytelling with infectious melodies to explore contemporary themes and universal emotions. Paul's songwriting echoes some of his favorite Americana artists such as Jason Isbell, Drew Holcomb and The Avett Brothers, and is inspired by the vintage sounds of his youth from Tom Petty and Jackson Browne to Elvis Costello and XTC.

Paul’s long and winding songwriting road has taken him from California to Cuba, where NYC avant-garde dance troupe Ballet D'Angelo performed to his music at the International Ballet Festival in Havana. Today, Paul is known for his engaging live shows and is founder and host of the Sound Shore Songwriter Series featuring local singer-songwriters in and around Westchester/NYC. Paul has headlined legendary venues including CityWineryNYC, the Cutting Room and The Bitter End, and his music has been featured on local radio stations from WPKN (Bridgeport, CT) to WUNH (Keene, NH).
