Sean Seymour: Asbury Park Porchfest 2026

Asbury Park Porchfest has been reshceduled to Saturday October 31st. Sean Seymour Deni Bonet & Chris Flynn Ed Seifert & Friends Carol Crittenden Matt Telliho AP Porchfest is a 501c3 charity that has been putting on a free day of live music in Asbury Park since 2018. In that time, there have been more than 600 performances by amazing local bands ranging from Americana to Rap, from blues to Broadway. And thanks to you, we have raised over $50,000 for local charities. Sean Seymour is new to the role of solo artist, but he is no stranger to the music world. The New Jersey native has toured the US, UK, and Canada and performed and recorded with musicians from Television, The Patti Smith Group, Cyndi Lauper, Ian Hunter's Rant Band, John Mayer, Bruce Springsteen, and Wings as a bassist, guitarist, and backup vocalist. Now, he is taking center stage to record and perform his original music. Influenced by his older siblings' records and the radio, his songs have a 60s pop slant filtered through 70s singer-songwriters and 80s alternative rock. His songs come from experience. Some are exuberant; others are sad. Occasionally, they're humorous, peppered with sarcasm, even anger. But they express universal feelings, whether it's the excitement of a new relationship, the loneliness of separation, the regret of missed opportunities, the despair following a breakup, or the giddiness of falling in love.
