Chris Ruggiero
Chris Ruggiero’s Christmas show is coming back, bigger and better than ever featuring new additions and old favorites, complete with a live orchestra of brass and strings. Since so many fans got shut out when this show sold out, we’ve added a second show so you’ll have shows at 3PM and 7PM to choose from. Both feature fan favorites from his critically-acclaimed Christmas album such as “Sleigh Ride,” “Christmas (Baby Please Come Home),” and “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” as well as songs from his 4 prior albums, all delivered in Chris’s own classic style. Chris has been touring the country breathing new life into vintage rock and roll tunes, in over 100 towns and cities so far! Working with the same arrangers who created magic for Frankie Valli & the Four Seasons, Julio Iglesias, Neil Diamond, Barry Manilow and Tony Orlando, Chris has crafted unique takes on familiar standards that have landed in heavy rotation on SiriusXM and local radio stations coast-to-coast. You may have seen him singing on Good Morning America or read about his Christmas album in Rolling Stone, but nothing compares to seeing Chris live on stage. Whether you’re a teenager of the 1960s or just love good music, don’t miss one of the most energetic and fun-filled holiday rock and roll shows you’ll ever see from one of today’s fastest-rising stars. This is Chris’s only Christmas show to feature 6 horns and a string quartet to complement his live band. Chris Ruggiero takes his audiences on a journey through the golden age of rock and roll, breathing new life into the timeless music of the 1950s, 60s and 70s. Chris has been described as an “old soul” at 26 years old, whose approach to his concert appearances is more in line with that of a bygone era than it is the artists of his generation. Chris first came to national attention when he performed in concert on one of PBS-TV’s coast-to-coast broadcast specials, which still airs to this day. Since then, Chris has been traveling around the country delivering his unique brand of vintage rock and roll, including sold out shows in Las Vegas, Cleveland, Florida and New York. Chris has released 5 albums including “I Am Chris Ruggiero” which features original arrangements from legendary arranger Charlie Calello on timeless classics such as “Wouldn’t it Be Nice,” “My Cherie Amour,” “The More I See You” and “This Magic Moment.” Calello has had over 100 national records as an arranger and producer, having worked with Frankie Valli, Frank Sinatra, Barbra Streisand, Neil Diamond and Glen Campbell, to name a few. Chris says, “Charlie is the epitome of musical genius.” Having completed the project, it appears the admiration is now mutual. Calello commented, “It’s been a long time since I heard a voice like this. Chris doesn’t chase the music. He brings the music to him and he does it without vocal tricks. That’s rare today.” His album, “Quiet Nights,” features only his voice and the masterful pianist Chris Tamburr re-imagining pop-rock classics like "Up on the Roof" and "The Long and Winding Road." Christmas of 2022 was a high point as Chris released his first Christmas album, including a duet with Darlene Love that landed him on the Adult Contemporary charts, on Good Morning America and with features in Rolling Stone and Forbes. “When I’m on stage singing a classic love song and I look out into the audience and see that twinkle in their eyes, I know they’re thinking about a special time and place in their life - or maybe their first kiss!” Chris says. “It’s magic.“ For Chris, entertaining is not a vocation, it’s a way of life.
