Selected Shorts

It’s story time . . . for adults! Spellbinding short stories by both established and emerging writers take on new life when they are performed by stars of stage and screen. You've heard the hit public radio series and podcast, now experience Selected Shorts live right here at The Purchase PAC.

Join us as a cast of actors – including Purchase alums Michelle Beck and Susie Essman and Tony Award winner Santino Fontana – transport us through the magic of fiction, one short story at a time, and connect us to the world with a rich diversity of voices from literature, film, theater, and comedy. Hosted by author and Selected Shorts radio host Meg Wolitzer.
