Cut, Copy, Queer: A Zine-Making Workshop
Join us for a hands-on zine-making workshop exploring the DIY tradition of zines as a space for creativity, self-expression, and queer and feminist storytelling. Through drawing, writing, collage, and found materials, we'll each create an eight-page mini-zine from a single sheet of paper. No experience is needed. Just come ready to experiment, make a mess, and tell a story. Everyone will leave with a finished mini-zine of their own. Jonah Piersanti is a Brooklyn-based artist. Their comics have been published in The Rumpus, and they've created illustrations for Sasha Velour, Switch 'n' Play, City Slang Records, and the Tallahassee Film Festival. They are currently a Master's student in Interdisciplinary Studies at NYU XE.
