Join our instructor for an engaging webinar as she draws on her experience leading multiple health and wellness programs in Southern Italy. Together, we will explore how Italian food culture, movement, social connection, and centuries-old principles of preventive health can enhance our long-term well-being.

Discover how the traditions of Southern Italy, including the historical Mediterranean lifestyle and the legacy of Salerno, home to Europe's first medical school, the Schola Medica Salernitana, continue to influence modern approaches to nutrition, healthy aging, and disease prevention. Through a combination of lecture and reflection, we will examine how to approach food, physical activity, community, and work-life balance with a refreshed perspective.

A unique aspect of this webinar is its integration of evidence-based nutrition science, historical perspectives on preventive health. This lifestyle approach transcends traditional dieting, calorie counting, and restriction. Instead, it emphasizes sustainable habits that foster both enjoyment and health. You will learn practical strategies for eating mindfully, incorporating movement into your daily routines, building social connections around meals, and cultivating a positive relationship with food.
