Hospice 101

Hospice has been part of the medical system in the US since the mid-1970s, yet there is still so much misinformation and misunderstanding about hospice and its role in providing the best possible care at the end of life.

Join us for this free webinar to debunk the myths about hospice and have your questions answered. You will learn what hospice is, why you might want hospice care for yourself or a loved one, when to start thinking about moving to hospice, and how to request it if you no longer want aggressive treatments and tests in the hospital. You will also learn how to cover the costs of hospice care, which is often covered at no cost through your Medicare contributions.

There will be time allowed for questions and resources will be provided, so you will leave the session better informed on this compassionate choice for end-of-life care.

This class will be recorded and a one-week link to the recording will be shared with all registered participants.
