The Christmas Pint! At Murphy's Irish Pub

🎄 The Christmas Pint at Murphy’s 🎄

Christmas Day | 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM

For 32 years, Murphy’s has proudly opened its doors on Christmas Day for one of our most beloved traditions — The Christmas Pint.

The story begins back in 1993, when original owners Larry and Rose Murphy decided that no one in the community should spend Christmas alone. That first year, they invited patrons who had nowhere to go and no one to celebrate with to come by the pub for a warm meal, a pint of Guinness and the comfort of good company.

What started as a simple act of kindness quickly became something truly special. Every Christmas after that, the doors of Murphy’s swung open once again — welcoming anyone and everyone who wanted to share in a meal, raise a glass and feel at home. Over time, familiar faces returned year after year, bringing friends and family along, and the gathering grew into a joyful, heartwarming celebration.

Now, 32 years later, The Christmas Pint continues to bring people together — a reminder of what Christmas is really about: generosity, friendship, and community. Whether you’ve been coming since the early days or you’re joining us for the first time, you’ll find a place at the table and a warm welcome waiting for you.

So this Christmas Day, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, come by Murphy’s to carry on the tradition. Enjoy a pint of Guinness, share a meal, and take part in a celebration that’s been bringing people together for over three decades.

And just like always — feel free to bring along some snacks or food to share. It’s all part of the spirit of the day!

Here’s to 32 years of Christmas cheer, good food, and great company — and to many more ahead.

Cheers,

The Murphy’s Family 🍻
