Heritage Halloween Tulocay Cemetery Tour
Step into Napa’s past during the 2026 Heritage Halloween Tulocay Cemetery Tour, presented by the Napa County Historical Society and sponsored by Napa County Landmarks.
Founded in 1857 on the Juarez Tulucay Rancho, Tulocay Cemetery is among the oldest public cemeteries in California and has served the Napa community for generations. This special 90-minute walking tour explores some of the cemetery’s oldest sections while sharing the stories of historic figures who helped shape Napa Valley.
Beginning at the Juarez Building just inside Tulocay’s original gates, the tour is led by a knowledgeable Tulocay Cemetery intern. Complimentary maps and whisper headsets are provided to help guests follow along throughout the experience.
The cemetery’s paved paths include steep and hilly areas, so comfortable walking shoes are recommended. Guests using scooters, walkers, or other mobility aids should ensure their equipment is suitable for inclines.
Date: Saturday, October 24, 2026
Location: Tulocay Cemetery, 411 Coombsville Rd., Napa
Tickets: $30 for NCHS members; $45 for non-members
