You are Invited to North Bay Speech Masters Toastmasters Club Meeting

**Whether it's improving our health, focusing on professional advancement, learning a new skill, it is often helpful to obtain someone to help learn new skills like speaking without preparation. The group at Toastmasters can help.**

We call speaking without preparation, impromptu speaking. If you want to learn new Impromptu speaking skills, Toastmasters can help. During the meeting, we will practice our impromptu speaking skills during our session we call Table Topics. During the Table Topics, the speaker is given a question, and they are asked to speak for 60 seconds to 2 minutes about the question.

Outside Toastmasters, impromptu speaking happens constantly. You might recognize it in moments such as:

\--Being asked for your opinion in a meeting

\--Responding to a follow-up question during a presentation

\--Introducing yourself or someone else unexpectedly

\--Handling a difficult or unplanned question

We hold meetings online and in-person. If joining us in-person, there is limited parking in the front lot. Once in the front door, please sign in at the computer to obtain a visitors' badge. (IUsually, there is a sheet by the computer telling you how to log in for Toastmasters.) If the sheet isn't there, the clerk at the desk can help. Then take the elevator down to the second floor, and take a left out of the elevator and a left at the hall and come down to the meeting room.
