UC Berkeley Symphony Orchestra Presents: Beethoven, Ravel, and Shostakovich

We're back in Hertz Hall this November with Beethoven, Ravel, and Shostakovich. The program opens with Beethoven's dramatic Leonore Overture No. 3, followed by the beautiful colors and fairy-tale scenes of Ravel's Mother Goose Suite. We'll end the night with Shostakovich's Symphony No. 15, his last symphony and one of his strangest: sometimes playful, sometimes unsettling, and never quite what you expect.
