Jill McLennan's work gives voice to the harmless, reflecting on the 2026 federal decision to rescind the definition of harm under the Endangered Species Act. She depicts animals adapting to thrive amid human impact. Painting with sumi ink on mulberry paper, she tears and applies the images to wood panels, adding watercolor and handmade paper.
