Music@Noon - Menghua-lin, Katie Youn, and Sue-mi Shin

The Shoreline Piano Trio \(https://shorelinepianotrio.com/\) invites the SCU community to explore The Art of Variation through the music of Ludwig van Beethoven. As we approach the bicentennial of his passing, this program highlights how Beethoven transforms simple musical ideas into something endlessly imaginative. The recital features the elegant Handel Variations \(1796\), the lively Violin Sonata No. 8 \(1802\), and the witty yet profound "Kakadu" Variations \(1824\). Menghua Lin, Katie Youn, and Sue-mi Shin
