Farmers' Market Relocates to Hope Street Lots

Mountain View, CA... The Mountain View Farmers’ Market will temporarily relocate to its NEW alternate location on Hope Street this Sunday, September 20. The market will be split between two City Parking Lots \(Lots 4 & 8\) on Hope Street, between Evelyn Avenue and Villa Street, just a short distance from its regular location at the Mountain View Caltrain Station.

The Mountain View Farmers’ Market periodically relocates on Sundays when early afternoon San Francisco 49ers home games require use of the Caltrain parking lot for transportation access to Levi’s Stadium via the VTA Orange Line.

All regular Mountain View Farmers’ Market vendors will be participating at the Hope Street location, giving customers access to the same selection of California farms, seasonal produce and locally made foods they find at the market each Sunday.

Customers should note the following for Sunday’s market:

Market hours: 9am-1pm. No entry to market prior to 9am.

Location: City Parking Lots 4 & 8 on Hope Street between Evelyn Avenue and Villa Street

Parking: Free customer parking is available in City Parking Lots 5, 6 and 9 on Hope Street, the parking structure on Castro St, as well as nearby street parking. Paid parking is also available at the Mountain View Caltrain lot.

Traffic: Hope Street will remain open to vehicles, but access will be limited. Customers are encouraged to avoid driving on Hope Street between Evelyn Avenue and Villa Street from approximately 7am to 2pm. and use View Street instead.

Assistance: Information Booths will be set up both lots and farmers’ market staff will be on site to answer any questions and provide assistance locating specific vendors.

The relocation is temporary. The Mountain View Farmers’ Market continues to operate year-round every Sunday from 9am-1pm at its regular Mountain View Caltrain Station location, relocating only on a limited number of Sundays each year.

Additional relocation dates currently scheduled for 2026 are September 27, October 4, November 8, November 29 and December 13. Customers can find complete relocation information, parking details and updates on the markets’ website and social media pages.

The Mountain View Farmers’ Market is held every Sunday from 9am-1pm, year round, rain or shine. It is a location approved by the County Agricultural Commissioner where farmers offer for sale only those fruits and vegetables they grow themselves.
