Yes, Ma'am

From the misty, pine-covered hills of the Pacific Northwest hail the Bridge City Sinners. Dark Folk? Americana? Folk Punk? Pre-war era Jazz? Blackgrass? This string band bends the meaning of the word genre with their eclectic blend of styles, defying categorization. They started their journey by busking on street corners across the country and now this supergroup of musicians find themselves on the national tour circuit. But the Sinners still hold true to the DIY mentality by putting albums out on their self-made record label, Flail Records. With talented musicianship and a live show full of attitude, this is one band you don’t want to miss.

Based in New Orleans, Yes Ma’am combines street music and 20’s style blues to create their original sound. Born from punk ethics and refined by years of performing alongside The Big Easy’s most talented street musicians, Yes Ma’am captures the spirit of the south with their gritty blues and rock n’ roll. Matthew Bracken’s soulful vocals and his rotating cast of all star musicians have gained attention from The Voice, New Orleans “Best Of Street”, and the world over.
