Julian Brooks and The Church of Jade is an Oakland seven-piece playing post-punk indie rock and roll — two guitars, keys, bass, drums, backing vocals, and Julian Brooks up front on lead vocals. Their single "Snakebite" (written by Julian with Paris King) and its video have earned 40+ international film festival accolades, and their music has reached the Top 10 on international rock charts. They've been working Bay Area rooms all year — The Ivy Room, The Fireside Lounge, Winters Tavern — and play a live in-studio set on KALX 90.7 FM on Saturday October 10th 9pm. !!!!
