Your ability to clearly and confidently explain your research is an essential skill throughout graduate school and beyond. Designed for first-year Ph.D. students, this interactive workshop will introduce the fundamentals of crafting an effective elevator pitch that communicates your research, interests, and goals to a variety of audiences. Participants will learn strategies for tailoring their message, engaging listeners, and building confidence when networking with faculty, peers, and professionals. Whether you're introducing yourself at a conference, networking event, or casual conversation, this session aims to help you make a memorable first impression.
