Kenny Lee Lewis, from The Steve Miller Band, and his band, plus some very special guests present a tribute to the iconic Fillmore music venues. This show honors the bands featured at the historic Fillmore East in NYC & Fillmore West in San Francisco during the Golden Era of Classic Rock. Legendary rock concert promoter Bill Graham was a true visionary. Graham’s ability to bring so many different types of musical entertainment under one roof - festooned with ultraviolet chandeliers and a light show - changed the way concert-goers got to experience live music. Kenny brings these great memories back to life with songs by Taj Mahal, Cream, Pink Floyd, Howlin’ Wolf, Allman Bros, Neville Bros, Hendrix, Steve Miller Band, Junior Walker, Jeff Beck, Johnny Guitar Watson, Creedence Clearwater Rival, The Grateful Dead, The Doors, The Kinks, Santana, Quicksilver Messenger Service, BB King, Janis Joplin, Jefferson Airplane, Etta James, The Who, and more. The legacy lives on! Kenny’s great band also includes an A-list horn section featuring Jimmy Z (Eurythmics, Etta James, Rod Stewart, Ringo Starr) on sax & harp and Scott Page (Pink Floyd, Supertramp, Toto) on sax, his talented wife, Lady Di (Diane Steinberg) on vocals, and Lauri Reimer on vocals & percussion. Featured guests have included: Grammy winning singer & former member of Chicago Bill Champlin, his wife, singer Tamara Champlin, keyboardist Don Randi (The Wrecking Crew), guitarist Carl Verheyen (Supertramp), drummer Kenny Aronoff (John Fogerty, John Mellencamp, Bob Seger, Willie Nelson), blues artist Deb Ryder, drummer Alvino Bennett (Dave Mason, Minnie Ripperton, Sheena Easton, L.T.D., Chaka Khan, Bryan Ferry, BB King, Kenny Loggins, Robin Trower), rock singer Keith England (The Allman Brothers, Derek Smalls band), bassist Larry Antonino (Pablo Cruise, Ronnie Laws, The Jazz Crusaders, Air Supply, Barry Manilow), keyboardist John “JT” Thomas (Bruce Hornsby, Rita Coolidge, Albert Lee), drummer Tony Pia (Pink, Doobie Brothers), and more, making each performance a charming, unique show experience.
