Kintsugi Japanese Ceramic Workshops (Thursdays)

POJ (Pieces of Japan) Studio is offering kintsugi workshops at Intertrend Communications in Long Beach. Kintsugi is a practice that transforms broken ceramic vessels into gorgeous, food-safe and long-lasting items. The Japanese art of repairing broken ceramics with lacquer and gold is inherently slow and deliberate, requiring patience, focus, and care rather than perfection or concealment. Many are drawn to kintsugi as a way to reconnect with presence and intentionality.Classes can be purchased in packages of three (The Act) or five (The Ensemble) and are held at Intertrend on Thursdays at 10 AM and Saturdays at 2 PM.
