PureBread - A Tribute to David Gates & Bread

If you love the smooth, unforgettable sounds of the ’70s, you won’t want to miss PureBread — Southern California’s premier tribute to the legendary soft rock supergroup, Bread.

Bread skyrocketed to fame in 1970 with their first No. 1 hit, “Make It With You,” and went on to score an astonishing twelve Top 40 singles, cementing their place as one of the most successful and influential pop bands of their era. Their timeless songs helped define the sound of soft rock and continue to resonate with audiences around the world.

Driven by a lifelong love and deep admiration for the music of Bread—especially the songwriting genius of David Gates—bandleader Ray Koukal assembled a powerhouse lineup of exceptional musicians in early 2021. Together, they set out to honor this iconic catalog with the care, authenticity, and musical excellence it deserves.

PureBread delivers immaculate, heartfelt performances of beloved classics like “It Don’t Matter to Me,” “Diary,” “Everything I Own,” “Lost Without Your Love,” “Baby I’m-a Want You,” “The Guitar Man,” “Sweet Surrender,” “If,” “Aubrey,” and “Make It With You,” among many others. Each performance is a vivid reminder of just how profoundly Bread shaped the soft rock movement and left its mark on pop music history.

So mark your calendars and make your plans to join us for an unforgettable evening of timeless hits, rich harmonies, and pure nostalgia as we celebrate the music that helped define the genre now known as Yacht Rock.
