Warhammer 40K Game Day
10th Edition Warhammer 40K Game Day
1\) 2 Games- 4 hours each. The TO will draw the Map, Mission Rule, and Primary Mission cards for each round right before pairings are made. Terrain will not be uniform between tables, but we will do our best to ensure that each table provides a fair and balanced amount of cover. We will use the FLG Player Placed Terrain format: the largest ruin is first floor blocking, all ruins must be placed 5" from each other and 4" from other terrain types and the battlefield edge. All other terrain types must be 4" from other terrain and may touch the battlefield edge. Terrain halves are designated by a line through the center point that evenly splits no-man's land. Defender places first piece, followed by the attacker placing two. Players then alternate until all pieces are placed. Crates may not be stood up on their short face.We will use the FLG Event FAQ as a main reference
\( \). But if something comes up during your games, call the TO.
2\) You can change lists in between games. We want people to be able to learn and explore their armies. The list you submit in registration should be for your first game. If you make a change during lunch just make sure to go over the new list with your opponent to double check points.
3\) There will be some amount of prizing based on performance
\(1st, Last, and Best Painted Unit\). Potential monetary prize amount will depend on attendance. Do not use a model you have entered for prizing at Next-Gen before. Additionally, there will be a raffle prize for competitors.
4\) 2,000pts
5\) Game must be registered with BCP
6\) No Painting Required, but it is encouraged
\(score will report with the 10 points automatically included\).
7\) Culture and Sportsmanship: Games are generally high caliber, competitive games, but are also low stress, fun and encourage friendly attitudes with zero tilting. tl;dr: attitude and conduct
\> winning.
8\) Any bye round player will receive an automatic win for the round and 70 points for the round. Players that did not play their game for the round will receive a tie and 20 points for the round.
9\) Clock: We STRONGLY recommend using a clock. It makes the game more fair towards both players. Furthermore, if one player wants to use a clock, both players must use a clock. The time for each person should be 2 hours and the clock starts in the deployment phase. If your clock runs out you may no longer take any action besides rolling saves. You do however, still score any points that would be scored based on where your models happen to be at that point i.e. you still hold an objective for primary while timed out.
