Music Appreciation Series

Trio 5 presents a program for viola/violin, cello, and piano, featuring the beloved Fauré Piano Trio, alongside a vibrant contemporary work by living composer Gerald Cohen, and a brand-new commission by Trio 5's own pianist, violist, and composer, Micah Behr. Based in the Midwest, Trio 5 brings together three dynamic musicians: Philip Bergman \(cello\), Madlen Breckbill \(violin & viola\), and Micah Behr \(piano & viola\). Known for their versatility and creativity, the ensemble continually reimagines the traditional trio format-shifting instrumentation and roles to showcase the full range of their artistic voices.
