
The Good Wives 5-Course Chef's Tasting Menu: A Meal Event (Two Seatings)
Part of the **2026 Chippewa Valley Book Festival!**

**Two Seatings**
**5:00 p.m. (Doors open at 4:30 p.m.)**
**7:30 p.m. (Doors open at 7:15 p.m.)**
The dream team behind The Good Wives and Kingfisher Supper Club, will be hosting a culinary journey through some of our book festival featured books for our 2026 meal event. Featured books and a specific menu will be released prior to ticket sales opening in September. We will once again have two separate seatings (5:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.) to accommodate more diners.
Dinner guests can expect brief presentations introducing each featured book by festival organizers during the five-course meal with a chance to mingle throughout the dining experience. *No festival authors will be present.*
**Menu**
**COURSE 1**: Inspired by *The Many Mothers of Dolores Moore* by Anika Fajardo Arepa Santandereana - served with hogan
**COURSE 2**: Inspired by *Bamboo Son* by Pao Lor Dumpling Laab - pork dumplings dressed up with traditional laab seasonings and herbs
**COURSE 3**: Inspired by *The Reservation* by Rebecca Kauffman Steak- slices of ribeye with buckwheat crepe, fall vegetable puree, Demi glacé and crisp fennel bulb
**COURSE 4**: Inspired by *American Birkebeiner* by Jerome Poling Smørrebrød - rye bread smeared with house-made cultured butter, topped with salmon gravlax, grapefruit segments, and dill pollen
**COURSE 5**: Inspired by *Minecraft: Roll for Adventure* by Matt Forbeck Cake Cubes
**TICKETS**
$75 including taxes/fees
A wine pairing add-on for $25 available at the time of the event.
Alternatively, the bar will be open as normal for beverage purchases.
