November Homeschool: Chemistry in Nature

Nature is full of hidden chemistry. During the program: Join us for an up-close look at how plants protect themselves and learn more about how natural systems use chemistry every day. Get curious about the world right outside our doors. Program format: 30 minute hands-on activity led by a science expert Individual work time to explore a variety of activities relating to the topic Program wrap-up This program is recommended for children ages 6–10, although all ages are welcome with adult assistance. All program participants and adults must register. Youth must be accompanied by a registered adult for the duration of the program. Program fees do not include nonmember museum admission.
