Introduction to Nalbinding: Start Your Own Wool Hat 1/2

Register here:

Tuition: $60, Materials: $57

Nalbinding \(needle binding or looping\) is an ancient technique for creating durable textiles using a single, blunt, large-eyed needle and short, finite lengths of yarn. Unlike knitting, it forms interlocking, knotless loops that do not unravel. Great for fishing nets, hats, socks, mittens, shawls, bags and even shirts. Nalbinding is considered an endangered folk-craft - help keep this tradition alive!
