Beginner Rosemaling Ornaments 2/2

Rosemaling means "rose painting" in Norwegian and is done in many styles reflective of specific regions of Scandinavia. In this class students will learn and practice the basic techniques of this traditional decorative painting style. Our instructor will provide paints and supplies so that you can practice painting. This beginner friendly class is a great introduction to the art form, which could become a lifelong passion!

This two-day class will begin with the foundations of the art form, with a focus on brush and paint strokes. On the second day students will have a chance to further explore traditional rosemaling techniques and leave with an embellished ornamental project of their own \(just in time for the holidays... perfect to decorate your home or give as a gift!\)
