School-Age Children Parenting Workshop

CARE of Southeastern Michigan’s Active Parenting program helps parents of children ages 5–12 build responsible, cooperative children who can resist negative peer pressure and thrive. Topics include brain development and behavior, school success, effective discipline and communication, and preventing future tobacco, alcohol, and drug use. Each session features a different parenting topic with practical tools and strategies.
